Produce Department Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Produce Supervisor to join our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited. As a key member of our Retail Store Operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of tasks within the Produce department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations in the Produce department to maintain excellent customer experience.
- Achieve established objectives in terms of brand, service levels, quality, and timeliness of delivery and identify areas for improvement.
- Recruit, train, develop, coach, and motivate the department team while fostering a positive work environment that enables the engagement of all team members in the pursuit of desired results.
- Work closely with the Retail Store Operations team to achieve sales, margin, and expense goals.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve sales, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Previous Retail Produce experience is required.
- Retail Team Leadership experience would be an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs is necessary.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills are essential.
- Strong time management and organizational skills are required.
