Location: Montreal, Canada

Are you passionate about gaming and fluent in German? PTW Montreal is seeking German Localization QA Game Testers to evaluate and enhance the localized versions of upcoming video games. This is an exciting opportunity to engage with unreleased titles and contribute to their quality.

Position Type: On-call with full-time availability from Monday to Friday.

Work Environment: This role requires candidates to work on-site in Montreal, Quebec.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and correct German language inaccuracies.
  • Ensure compliance with console manufacturer standards.
  • Document all identified errors and bugs to facilitate game improvements.
  • Provide constructive feedback on gameplay experiences.
  • Identify and report any missing or incorrect content to ensure smooth gameplay.
  • Conduct ad hoc translations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Native-level proficiency in German is essential, as a deep understanding of gaming content in the German language is required.
  • Strong cultural insight into Germany.
  • Excellent command of English is necessary for interpreting internal documentation from international clients.
  • Basic proficiency in French is advantageous for effective communication.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Excel.
  • Meticulous attention to detail is crucial.
