**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled German Localization QA Game Tester to join our team at PTW Montreal. As a German Localization QA Game Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of video games in the German language.

Key Responsibilities

  • **Proofreading and Quality Assurance**: Review and identify errors in the German language, ensuring that the game meets the highest standards of quality.
  • **Console Manufacturer Guidelines**: Verify that the game adheres to the guidelines set by console manufacturers.
  • **Error Reporting**: Write detailed reports of errors and bugs found during testing, providing valuable feedback to improve the game.
  • **Game Testing**: Test the game to ensure it runs smoothly and identify any missing or incorrect content.
  • **Ad Hoc Translations**: Perform occasional translations to ensure the game is accurate and consistent in the German language.

Requirements

  • **Native-Level Proficiency in German**: A thorough understanding of the content within games in the German language is mandatory.
  • **Strong Cultural Understanding of Germany**: A deep understanding of German culture and customs is essential for this role.
  • **Excellent Proficiency in English**: The ability to comprehend and interpret internal documentation from our international clients is crucial.
  • **Basic Proficiency in French**: The ability to communicate and collaborate with colleagues in French is necessary.
  • **Computer Literacy**: Proficiency in using different software and applications, particularly Excel.
  • **Excellent Attention to Detail**: The ability to identify and report errors with precision and accuracy.
