About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and organized individual to join our team at YJ TRUCK REPAIR INC as a Mechanic Assistant. In this role, you will provide support to our mechanics and technicians in maintaining and repairing our fleet of trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Mechanics and Technicians: Provide support to our mechanics and technicians in performing routine maintenance and repairs on our trucks.
  • Move Equipment and Materials: Safely move heavy equipment and materials around the shop and yard.
  • Signal Safety Procedures: Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Help Tradespersons and Apprentices: Assist tradespersons and apprentices as directed to ensure they have the necessary support to complete their tasks.
  • Clean Machines and Work Areas: Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and organized workspace.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Physically Demanding: This role requires the ability to work in a physically demanding environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Handling Heavy Loads: The ability to handle heavy loads and work under pressure is essential for this role.
