About the Role

KTL Transport Inc is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Logistics: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Handling: Load and unload goods, and ensure the safety and security of cargo.
Requirements
  • Certifications: AZ class license and Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Documentation: Accurate completion of accident or incident reports, bill of lading, and other documentation.
  • Equipment: Proficient in operating GPS and other navigation equipment.
  • Experience: Long-haul experience and ability to work independently.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
