About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Department Manager to join our Electroménagers/Installation team at RONA. As a key member of our store leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Manage Department Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Merchandising and Inventory Management: Ensure the department is well-stocked and visually appealing, with a focus on maintaining high standards of presentation and organization.
  • Customer Service and Sales: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and make sales recommendations to drive revenue growth.
  • Store Operations and Maintenance: Ensure the department is clean, safe, and well-maintained, with a focus on maintaining high standards of store appearance and functionality.
  • Marketing and Promotions: Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to drive sales growth and increase customer engagement.
  • Recruitment and Training: Assist in recruiting and training new staff members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the role.
Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Retail Experience: Proven track record of success in a retail leadership role, with a focus on sales growth, customer service, and team management.
  • Strong Leadership and Communication Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team, communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, and make informed decisions.
  • Business Acumen and Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop effective strategies to drive sales growth.
