Job Summary

RONA is seeking a skilled Department Manager to oversee the daily operations of our store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising work, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise work according to set priorities and company requirements
• Resolve any issue that may arise while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Carry out merchandising duties according to the Store Manager's directions
• Supervise the replenishment process
• Manage promotional activities according to sales, company initiatives, and competitor trends
• Assist in recruiting staff for the department under your responsibility
• Determine work schedule while complying with the established labour budget and ensuring customer needs are met
• Coach, encourage, and motivate teams

Requirements

• 5 years experience in personnel management
• Experience managing a retail business
• Strong leadership skills, resourceful and autonomous
• Excellent communication skills
