Position Overview

Lin Qian is seeking a dedicated Home Support Worker to provide essential assistance to clients in their residences. This role is crucial in ensuring the well-being and comfort of individuals requiring personal care.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience is necessary.
Work Environment
  • Non-smoking environment.
  • Work primarily in the employer's or client's home.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide bedside and personal care to clients.
  • Administer prescribed medications as needed.
  • Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene tasks.
  • Support clients in engaging in regular physical activities, such as walking.
  • Facilitate feeding or assist clients during mealtime.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support.
  • Deliver personal care tailored to individual client needs.
Certifications Required
  • CPR Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
Safety and Security
  • Completion of a criminal record check is mandatory.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform bending, crouching, and kneeling tasks.
  • Capable of a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Willingness to handle repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to lift weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
