About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team at Chan Nowosad Boates Inc. as a key member of our finance department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze financial records and statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and procedures.
  • Prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies, including financial statements and reports.
  • Conduct field audits of businesses to ensure compliance with governing legislation and regulations.
  • Review and examine financial services and institutions to ensure compliance with governing legislation and regulations.
  • Provide financial, business, and tax advice to clients and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits.
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
