Job Description

Job Title: Risk Management Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Leader to join our team at BMO Financial Group. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing risk management strategies to ensure the bank's financial stability and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess potential risks and develop mitigation plans
  • Provide risk management guidance and support to business units to ensure effective risk management practices
  • Develop and maintain risk management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Monitor and report on risk management metrics to senior management and the board of directors

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in economics, finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of risk management experience, with at least 5 years of managerial experience
  • Expert knowledge of consumer credit risk lending and risk management principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex risk management concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
