Job Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is tasked with the initial candidate pipeline development and qualification screening. This role focuses on sourcing and pre-screening candidates for TEKsystems' client requisitions, working closely with TEKsystems recruiters. You will be part of a dynamic team of 15-25 peers in a virtual environment, contributing to the establishment of a new department within the organization. This presents a unique opportunity to influence the future of our company through your daily contributions.

Note: The responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Specialist are strictly limited to the following functions. This role does not encompass recruiter duties such as managing contract employee performance, overseeing assignment changes, handling HR issues, or managing redeployment tasks. These responsibilities are to be directed to a recruiter.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

Identify and attract candidates through diverse sourcing techniques, including TEKsystems' database, social media channels, job boards, and resume databases. Facilitate the introduction process by documenting all interactions and relevant updates regarding candidate status. Pinpoint candidates based on specific skill sets, market demands, and geographical considerations. Create comprehensive candidate profiles within the applicant tracking system (Connected). Set daily targets focused on engaging candidates via phone and email to assess their skills, aspirations, and interests, thereby identifying both active and passive job seekers. Connect qualified candidates with the Recruiting Coordinator based on pertinent requirements, ensuring a smooth handoff for initial screening. Generate referrals through effective networking.

Qualifications

Minimum Education/Abilities/Skills:

A diploma or higher is preferred. 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in technology. Comfortable with both outbound and inbound communication. Strong customer service orientation. Bilingual abilities are a plus, though not mandatory.

Compensation: $19/hr plus applicable overtime, as required.
