Job Title: Shipper-Receiver

At Auto Country, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipper-Receiver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare Shipping Documents: Accurately prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Container Assembly and Inspection: Assemble containers and crates, inspect incoming goods against invoices or other documents, and verify their accuracy.
  • Record-Keeping and Inventory Management: Maintain our internal record-keeping system, track inventory levels, and record shortages and reject damaged goods.
  • Goods Routing and Packing: Route goods to appropriate storage areas, pack goods to be shipped, and unpack goods received.
  • Payment and Reconciliation: Process payments for goods and reconcile any discrepancies.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Physical Demands: Perform tasks that require handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
Personal Suitability:
  • Accurate and Dependable: Demonstrate accuracy and dependability in your work, with a strong focus on efficiency and teamwork.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
