About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Market Analyst to join our team at CB Canada. As a Market Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our research team by collecting and disseminating project information, entering data into our proprietary database, and liaising with industry professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Conduct research and collect data on commercial real estate projects, including site visits and data entry into our database.
  • Industry Liaison: Foster strong relationships with brokers, stakeholders, planners, and developers to gain data cooperation and collection support.
  • Database Management: Maintain the accuracy and timeliness of our real estate data by entering large amounts of data into our database.
  • Industry Trends and Best Practices: Stay up-to-date on commercial real estate activity, including sales and listings, and attend industry events and meetings to maintain our knowledge and expertise.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to achieve objectives and share best practices.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A degree or diploma in Real Estate, Geography, Urban Planning, Business, Economics, or a related discipline, with 1+ years of experience in commercial real estate.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data collection, data interpretation, and compiling information, as well as skills in Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships within and across teams.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work outside of business hours on occasion and have a valid driver's license.
