About the Role

PCL Construction is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing reporting and analytical content using data from PCL's business applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business needs into actionable insights by designing and developing production reports and dashboards
  • Acquire and analyze data from various structured and unstructured data sources
  • Develop and maintain business data models to support self-service BI and analytics
  • Design and implement ETL/ELT processes to ensure data quality and integrity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure business requirements are met

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in computer science or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data management, and data modeling
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and relational database design and implementation techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving and data-analysis skills
