About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Rick's Place Restaurant Ltd. as a key member of our kitchen operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless food preparation and service.

Supervise and Coordinate Kitchen Staff

Oversee and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent food quality and presentation.

Train and Develop Staff

Train kitchen staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Inventory Management and Control

Estimate and manage ingredient and supply requirements, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.

Quality Control and Assurance

Ensure that food and service meet high quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.

Record Keeping and Reporting

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business improvement.

Communication and Teamwork

Establish effective communication channels with kitchen staff, chefs, and other stakeholders, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 40 hours per week
