This position is responsible for delivering sustainable revenue by working closely with site operations and crews. In addition, the position is responsible for growing the business in the mining, quarry, and construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage site contract compliance, including health and safety, operations, and commercial aspects.
  • Secure growth opportunities in mining, quarry, and construction.
  • Lead a team of 20+ employees.
  • Responsible for safety, production, quality, and budgets for their area of mine operations.
  • Prepare reports and briefs on production, safety, progress on projects, and more.

Requirements

  • College or technical degree combined with relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of mining, drilling, and blasting processes.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a related industry, including team supervision and client support.
  • Strong track record of building positive relationships with coworkers, team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • A good working knowledge of commonly used business IT technologies.
  • Knowledge of OH&S Act and Health, Safety, and Environment management systems.
  • Knowledge of cash flow modeling techniques and mineral economics is an asset.
