We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian II to join our team at BC Children's Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive nutrition care to pediatric patients with gastrointestinal and hepatological disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough nutrition assessments and develop personalized care plans for patients with complex nutritional needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless delivery of nutrition care and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in pediatric nutrition to provide evidence-based care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal care outcomes.
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or Nutritional Sciences from an accredited university.
  • Registration with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia with Restricted Activity A, B, and C as appropriate for designated patient/client population.
  • Certification as a Nutrition Support Clinician by the National Board of Nutrition Support Certification, Inc.
  • Completion of an advanced anthropometrics workshop or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • A minimum of two years recent related pediatric clinical experience, including nutrition support in an acute pediatric healthcare setting, focusing on gastrointestinal disorders.
