Position Overview: We are seeking dedicated security personnel who are experienced, professional, and committed to excellence. If you possess these qualities, we would like to hear from you. Successful candidates will be assigned to various locations within Greater Vancouver.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-visibility patrols of designated areas, both on foot and in company vehicles
  • Ensure the safety and security of all personnel, visitors, and the general public
  • Respond to incidents of theft, trespassing, vandalism, and fire
  • Oversee property access control
  • Investigate and document suspicious activities, incidents, and security breaches
  • Enforce client-specific policies
  • Communicate effectively with law enforcement, emergency medical services, and fire departments
  • Respond to and investigate alarms, ensuring properties are secure before departure

Shift Availability:

  • Full-time: availability to work 32 to 40 hours per week
  • Shifts: Morning, Afternoon, and Night - 12-hour shifts
  • Mobile patrol teams operate from a central office location, accessible by public transit
  • Parking is provided for successful candidates

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Possess a valid BC Security License
  • Hold a valid Class 4 or 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of road safety
  • Have relevant experience in security or customer service
  • Exhibit excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor
  • Maintain a high standard for safety and possess a passion for security
  • Showcase strong documentation and communication abilities
  • Work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Additional certifications such as Occupational First Aid Level 1, 2, 3, AST, etc., are advantageous

Note: Selected candidates will be required to present an ICBC driver's abstract during the in-person interview. Failure to provide this documentation will result in disqualification.

Security officers may be required to work extended hours and participate in an on-call rotation for urgent scheduling needs.
