Position Overview: We are seeking dedicated security personnel who are professional, committed, and possess relevant experience in the security field. If you align with these values, we would like to hear from you. Successful candidates will operate within the Greater Vancouver area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-visibility patrols of designated areas, both on foot and in company vehicles
  • Ensure the safety of all personnel, visitors, and the general public
  • Respond to incidents of theft, trespassing, vandalism, and fire
  • Monitor and control property access
  • Investigate and document suspicious activities, incidents, and security breaches
  • Enforce client-specific policies
  • Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency medical services, and fire departments
  • Respond to and assess alarms, ensuring properties are secure before leaving

Shift Availability:

  • Full-time: available for 32 to 40 hours per week
  • Shifts: Morning, Afternoon, and Night - 12-hour shifts
  • Mobile patrol team operates from the main office, accessible by public transport
  • Parking available for successful candidates

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Possess a valid BC Security License
  • Hold a valid Class 4 or 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Strong understanding of Road Safety
  • Relevant experience in security or customer service
  • Exceptional customer service skills and professional demeanor
  • High standards for safety and a passion for security
  • Excellent documentation and communication abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Additional certifications such as Occupational First Aid Level 1, 2, 3, or AST are advantageous

Note: Selected candidates will be required to present an ICBC driver's abstract during the in-person interview. Failure to provide this documentation and a valid Class 4 or 5 driver's license will result in disqualification.

Security officers may be required to work extended hours and participate in an on-call rotation for urgent scheduling needs.
