BRIYANI BAR is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service establishment.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
- Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customers' complaints or concerns, and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
- Teamwork: Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, maintain a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and demonstrate excellent oral communication, flexibility, and teamwork skills.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
- Work Setting: Food service establishment.
- Supervision: 5-10 people.
- Fast-paced environment.
- Work under pressure.
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
- Standing for extended periods.
