Project Manager

Graham is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Infrastructure division. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading projects in the transit and transportation sectors, including roads, highways, bridges, interchanges, LRTs, BRTs, and airports.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Preconstruction to prepare and monitor project budgets.
- Manage the subcontracting process, including facilitating initial scope review meetings and developing subcontract scopes of work.
- Direct the process of determining project budgets and deliverables.
- Assist with hiring key personnel and subcontractors for the project.
- Manage project administration and daily operations, escalating issues as necessary.
- Manage project schedules and milestone dates, and ensure close-out checklists are prepared and maintained.
- Maintain relationships and communication tools with suppliers and project personnel to verify material delivery and personnel availability.
- Review performance standards and metrics against which the team will be measured.
- Monitor the change management process, including identifying change events and negotiating change orders with clients.
- Ensure project sites and company assets are secure, and maintain a safe and respectful working environment.
- Provide input into the completion of an organizational and responsibility matrix at the start of the project.
- Review contract documents to obtain a clear understanding of deliverables.
- Manage the review and communication of project objectives, budget, schedule, and client satisfaction measurements to project team members.
- Assist in the input of regular status reports for company executives and project-steering committees.
- Take direct ownership of the development, implementation, and execution of the Project Specific Safety Plan.
- Take personal responsibility for own health and safety, and that of other workers, visitors to the site(s), the community, and the environment.
- Analyze the environment for potential risks or safety hazards.
- Monitor and measure HSE goals and expectations using Key Performance Indicators.
- Understand and comply with client requirements, Occupational Health and Safety regulations, and all applicable government laws and regulations.
- Ensure the implementation of the Project Specific Quality Plan on the project site by all project stakeholders.
- Previous experience managing projects in the $5 to $25 million dollar range.
- Experience working at a General Contractor.
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- 5+ years of civil infrastructure industry experience.
- Minimum of 3 years in managing multi-disciplinary construction projects.
- Experience and acumen required to anticipate client requirements and work proactively regarding risk and claim management, and ability to work autonomously with limited supervision.
- Balanced leadership and technical skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
- Proficiency using scheduling and project management software.
- $87,300 - $137,500 per annum.
- Salary commensurate with education and experience.
