About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Culinary Team Member to join our kitchen team at Nando's Chicken. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards, ensuring that all food is presented in a visually appealing and appetizing manner.
  • Kitchen Operations: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards and ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are fulfilled efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that the kitchen is always well-stocked and that waste is minimized.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all customers receive a warm and welcoming experience.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
