Key Responsibilities:
- Support information security evaluations and gap analyses utilizing frameworks such as NIST CSF and HITRUST CSF.
- Gather evidence of security measures from third-party providers to facilitate third-party risk evaluations.
- Examine business, financial, and IT infrastructures to identify technological and privacy vulnerabilities and suggest enhancements.
- Generate comprehensive reports detailing assessment results, risk data, and remediation strategies.
- Coordinate IT risk control libraries and assist in planning project timelines.
- Remain informed about security threats, industry developments, and GRC tools.
- Travel as necessary for engagements.
Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks such as NIST RMF and ISO 27005.
- Experience in executing cybersecurity evaluations and assessing security measures.
- Knowledge of cloud security frameworks and regulatory standards.
- Awareness of emerging attack patterns and response methodologies.
- Experience with information security principles including network security, application security, and vulnerability assessment.
Education and Work Experience:
- Degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in cybersecurity with an emphasis on risk evaluation.
- Preferred industry certifications include CISSP and CIPP.
