Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the Housekeeping Department, ensuring that all team members are trained and equipped to provide exceptional service to our guests.
- Develop and implement effective systems and processes to drive efficiency, productivity, and quality in the Housekeeping Department.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all areas of the hotel meet our high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
- Manage the budget and financial performance of the Housekeeping Department, ensuring that all expenses are controlled and optimized.
- Recruit, train, and develop the skills of housekeeping staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional service to our guests.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all staff.
- Source and purchase all necessary housekeeping supplies and equipment, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of hotel renovations, upgrades, and deep cleaning projects.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior management role in the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of success in leading and managing a team, with a focus on customer service and quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, including housekeeping, front desk, and food and beverage.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional service to our guests.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
