About the Role
As a Merchandise Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring our SmartStock Programs run smoothly within customer retail locations. Reporting to the Sales Account Manager, your responsibilities will encompass maintaining and executing these programs, including tote-to-rack merchandising, display rack assembly, plan-o-gram execution, product rotation, and overall merchandising services.
Your Responsibilities:
- Maintain a detailed call routine as directed by the Sales Account Manager.
- Communicate weekly with the Sales Account Manager for updated guidance on program execution.
- Execute the SmartStock program effectively, including rack maintenance, plan-o-gram adherence, ordering, and merchandising activities.
- Minimize out-of-stocks on shelves by ensuring products are fresh and within date code parameters.
- Provide prompt and attentive service to customer needs and concerns.
- Ensure compliance with plan-o-grams, marketing best practices, and store guidelines.
- Identify display opportunities and optimize product positioning for maximum visibility.
- Accurately price, identify, and display products.
- Collaborate with customers to find solutions to challenges.
- Perform other assigned tasks and duties as required.
Your Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and proper insurance coverage.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Understanding of store plan-o-grams and set instructions.
- Proficiency in operating hand-held inventory control devices, calculators, and computers.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel and Outlook.
