Health, Safety and Environment Lead

At BGIS, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Lead to join our team. As a key member of our HSE team, you will be responsible for developing, leading, and executing HSE programs for assigned accounts, ensuring ongoing compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute HSE programs, promoting a high HSE culture for assigned accounts.
- Provide guidance and advice to account and client team members on HSE matters, applying knowledge of related regulations.
- Collaborate with account teams to ensure team members have adequate tools and resources for safe work execution.
- Maintain HSE management systems registration, including ISO 14001, CSA Z1000, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 45001.
- Achieve HSE objectives for assigned accounts, developing and managing key performance indicators.
- Develop and continuously improve HSE management systems and associated processes and procedures.
- College degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or Environmental Sciences.
- 3-5 years of HSE program execution work experience.
- Knowledge of HSE regulatory requirements and management systems.
- Strong program development and execution abilities.
- Bilingual French/English required, depending on the account.
