Role Responsibilities:
As a Small Business Advisor , you will be at the forefront of customer engagement, focusing on delivering exceptional service throughout the client experience. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing a designated portfolio of valuable and/or intricate small business owner accounts to ensure retention and meet established objectives while adhering to Scotiabank's service standards.
2. Establishing a prominent presence in the local business landscape by fostering relationships with various influential entities.
3. Actively connecting with both new and existing clients to cultivate strong, lasting relationships and provide comprehensive guidance that empowers them to thrive in their ventures.
4. Collaborating with fellow advisors to create a customer-focused atmosphere.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a results-driven mindset and a solid understanding of the small business sector, including knowledge of the features and advantages of small business offerings. Key qualifications include:
- Proficiency in interpreting financial statements and familiarity with relevant risk management policies and legal documentation for small business products.
- Strong business development skills and awareness of small business legal frameworks, lifecycle stages, competitor products, and alternative financing options.
- Excellent organizational abilities and adaptability to a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, with a passion for networking and collaboration.
- A valid driver's license and access to a dependable vehicle.
