Cleaning Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Inc. as part of our commitment to providing a clean and safe work environment for our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of cleaning staff to ensure that all areas of the facility are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure that all areas are cleaned efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of cleaning services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that cleaning services meet the needs of the organization.
  • Provide training and guidance to cleaning staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored.
  • Develop and implement a plan to reduce waste and minimize the environmental impact of cleaning operations.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a cleaning or facilities maintenance role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a wet/damp, noisy, dusty, outdoors, and dirty environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
