About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to join our team at Good Shepherd Centres. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for providing leadership support to our Assisted Living, Personal Support Service, and Adult Day Program teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the care teams, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to best practices.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the program director to develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the teams, including scheduling, performance management, and attendance management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clients, families, and community partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and registered in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Current CPR certificate and proof of COVID vaccination.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience working in a progressive leadership role in a healthcare setting.
  • Evidence of a commitment to continuing education and professional development.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience directly managing staff and ability to create a supportive professional team culture.
  • Demonstrated transformational leadership and change management skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the mission values of hospitality, responsibility, availability, adaptability, quality, and dignity.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team model as a strong team player.
  • Resourceful problem-solver with strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent time management, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, along with proficiency in computer-based Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent attendance record.
