Job Title: Assistant Store Leader

The Assistant Store Leader is a key member of the David Yurman team, responsible for driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences in our luxury retail stores.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
  • Partner with the Store Manager to oversee store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance.
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive sales growth, improve customer engagement, and enhance the overall shopping experience.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to sales professionals to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities on the sales floor, including supervising staff, ensuring proper floor coverage, and maintaining a luxury environment.
  • Oversee store opening and closing procedures, including inventory management and store maintenance.
  • Partner with the Store Manager to hire and train new sales associates, and provide performance feedback and coaching.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-4+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end luxury accessories boutique.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to develop and motivate a high-performing sales team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Language skills in Spanish are a plus.
