Global Medical Information Specialist

Indegene is seeking a highly skilled Global Medical Information Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our medical information team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality medical information documents, literature searches, and responding to medical information requests and inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to medical information requests from internal and external customers, ensuring that responses are medically and scientifically accurate, timely, balanced, and meet customers' needs.
- Create medical information documents, including standard response documents, questions and answer documents, and reactive slide decks, by assessing and summarizing published medical and scientific literature.
- Update documents at regular intervals and maintain a database of frequently used medical information documents.
- Deliver high-quality literature searches, including identification of key literature that supports the creation of medical content and checking for or obtaining copyright permissions prior to internal or external use.
- Work on platforms and tools to support creation, review, management, documentation, analysis, and tracking of medical information documents.
- Collaborate with the medical information and medical affairs teams during congresses, product launches, and key data releases, ensuring assigned work is completed as per timelines and SOPs.
- Have a background and understanding of requirements for strategic communication planning, KOL profiling, scientific meetings, disease-awareness programs, and training and development programs.
- Advanced bioscience or pharmacy/medical qualification (PharmD, PhD, MD, etc.).
- ~1-2 years of scientific writing/content writing experience in research, life science, and pharmaceutical companies, for example, within medical affairs or medical information teams, or medical communications agency experience.
- ~ Ability to perform in-depth literature research, analysis, and interpretation of medical data.
- ~ Knowledge of regulatory guidelines affecting the dissemination of medical information and product promotion.
- ~ Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and French language proficiency is a must) and willingness to travel on an as-needed basis.
