Global Medical Information Specialist

Indegene is seeking a highly skilled Medical Information Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Information Specialist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality medical information documents, conducting literature searches, and responding to medical information requests and inquiries.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to medical information requests from internal and external customers, ensuring that responses are medically and scientifically accurate, timely, and meet customers' needs.
- Conduct literature searches to identify key literature that supports the creation of medical content, and obtain copyright permissions as needed.
- Create medical information documents, including standard response documents, questions and answer documents, and reactive slide decks.
- Update documents at regular intervals and maintain a database of frequently used medical information documents.
- Work with the medical information and medical affairs teams to ensure assigned work is completed as per timelines and SOPs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development of medical content and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Advanced bioscience or pharmacy/medical qualification (PharmD, PhD, MD, etc.).
- 1-2 years of scientific writing/content writing experience in research, life science, and pharmaceutical companies, or medical communications agency experience.
- Specific medical information experience is preferred.
- Strong accountability, interpersonal, and organizational skills, and the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
- Ability to perform in-depth literature research, analysis, and interpretation of medical data.
- Knowledge of regulatory guidelines affecting the dissemination of medical information and product promotion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and French language proficiency is a must).
