About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Burnaby, Canada. As a key member of our Industrial and Infrastructure Business line, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical teams in the design and development of electrical systems
  • Review and perform electrical engineering detail design calculations
  • Design and specify electric power systems and equipment for operation at power utilities, transportation, industrial, institutional, and public sectors
  • Perform engineering and electrical systems studies, design, technical evaluations, cost estimates, and options analysis for new equipment or modifications to existing equipment and systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet client requirements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in design and development. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Professional Engineering license (P.Eng.) in Canada
  • At least 5 years of experience in design of electrical systems within Utility, Municipal, and Industrial sectors
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory codes and standards, including Canadian electrical standards and codes
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
