Job Title: Labourer, Field and Vegetable Crops

At Josling Farms Inc., we are seeking a skilled Labourer, Field and Vegetable Crops to join our team. As a Labourer, Field and Vegetable Crops, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to crop maintenance and harvesting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply the technique of hoeing between rows to maintain crop health and prevent weeds from growing.
  • Clear fields of wood and stones to ensure a smooth and efficient harvesting process.
  • Hand harvest vegetables to ensure high-quality produce.
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to promote healthy growth and development.
  • Weed crops to prevent competition for water and nutrients.
  • Fertilize and spray crops to promote healthy growth and development.
  • Harvest crops to ensure timely and efficient production.
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to train and learn new skills.
Work Environment:

The Labourer, Field and Vegetable Crops will work in a rural area, outdoors, and in a variety of weather conditions. The work environment will be physically demanding, with the need to handle heavy loads and work in tight spaces.

Language:

The primary language of work will be English.Work Schedule:

The Labourer, Field and Vegetable Crops will work 40 to 50 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime during peak seasons.
