About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Concrete Finishing Specialist to join our team at ONESTOP VENTURES INC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our concrete projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Prepare Work Sites: Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Concrete Placement and Finishing: Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade, and impart the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement, and level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification.
  • Estimating and Planning: Estimate costs and materials, and prepare tenders and quotations for our projects.
  • Technical Skills: Operate CADD and other computer software systems, and read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, and in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Physical Demands: Lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials and equipment, and work in a variety of weather conditions.
