About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Interior Designer to join our team at Harleen Sandhu Co Design Ltd. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces that meet the needs and preferences of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Estimation: Develop accurate estimates for interior design projects, taking into account materials, labor, and other costs.
  • Space Planning: Create detailed plans and 3-D models to visualize the arrangement of walls, dividers, displays, lighting, and other fixtures in interior spaces.
  • Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, safety requirements, and the purpose of the space, and provide expert advice on interior design solutions.
  • Design Development: Develop detailed plans, elevations, cross sections, and drawings to bring interior design concepts to life.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor junior designers and staff to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist with the immediate settlement needs of newcomers and refugees, including housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing.
  • Support for Youths: Provide on-the-job training tailored to youth, helping them develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the interior design industry.
  • Support for Mature Workers: Create a welcoming work environment for mature workers by providing awareness training and promoting diversity and inclusion.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced design studio environment, collaborating with a team of professionals to deliver high-quality interior design projects.
  • Language: English is the primary language used in the workplace.
  • Hours: 30-40 hours per week, with flexibility to meet project deadlines.
