AUSONG CURTAIN & DESIGN INC. is seeking a skilled Interior Design Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating interior spaces that reflect clients' needs and tastes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior design, with experience in estimating costs, preparing detailed specifications, and working in a multidisciplinary environment. You will also be responsible for supervising staff or team members, reading blueprints, and advising on selection of colours, finishes, and materials.

We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills, who is able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. If you are a motivated and organized individual with a passion for interior design, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimate cost of projects
  • Prepare detailed specifications
  • Work in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Supervise staff or team
  • Read blueprint, schemas and drawings
  • Advise on selection of colours, finishes and materials, lighting, furniture and other items, taking into account ergonomic and occupational health standards

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
