AUSONG CURTAIN & DESIGN INC. is seeking a skilled Interior Design Consultant to join our team. As an Interior Design Consultant, you will be responsible for creating interior spaces that reflect clients' needs and tastes. This includes estimating costs of projects, preparing detailed specifications, and working in a multidisciplinary environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles and be able to advise clients on the selection of colours, finishes, and materials. You will also be responsible for supervising staff or team members and ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimate cost of projects
  • Prepare detailed specifications
  • Work in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Advise on selection of colours, finishes and materials, lighting, furniture and other items, taking into account ergonomic and occupational health standards
  • Consult with clients to determine needs, preferences, safety requirements and purpose of space

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
