Gift Processing Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Business Operations team as a Gift Processing Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of donations, working closely with donor managers and internal stakeholders to resolve any issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities- Data Entry: Enter donations into our CRM system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Gift Processing: Process credit card payments and cheque deposits, scanning cheques and saving them in a secure folder.
- Communication: Serve as a point of contact for donor managers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Queue Management: Review daily work queues and respond to requests in a timely manner, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Collaboration: Liaise with internal stakeholders to fulfill donors' requests, suggesting improvements to processes that will enable an exceptional donor experience.
- 1+ years of experience in a data entry or administrative role, with a background in fundraising or gift processing.
- University or college degree, certification, or equivalent working experience.
- Working knowledge of CRM systems, such as Blackbaud or Raiser's Edge, is an asset.
- Experience working with project management tools, such as Asana, is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple incoming requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams) is required.
- Willingness and ability to learn new systems and tools.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work across the organization to find solutions to donor questions.
