Regional Sales Manager

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and directing the sales activities within a designated geographical area. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, leading a team of Territory Managers, and ensuring that sales and revenue targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve organizational goals and objectives, monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks, and set sales targets and priorities for the sales team to meet and exceed.
- Team Leadership and Management: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of sales representatives, conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to improve sales performance, and foster a positive and motivating working environment focused on delivering results, while encouraging collaboration.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and distributors, address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner, and conduct regular client meetings to review performance and identify opportunities for growth.
- Sales Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to senior management, analyze sales data to inform business decisions and adjust sales strategies as needed, and prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and any additional relevant documentation.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with provincial and federal regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products, stay informed on changing laws and regulations affecting the cannabis industry, and manage the Regional sales budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, proven experience in sales management, preferably in the cannabis industry or a relevant field, and demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and managing a field sales team.
- Skills & Abilities: Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, knowledge of cannabis products and industry regulations, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Working Conditions:
- The position requires travel to various locations as assigned, and work hours can vary and may include evenings and weekends to accommodate client schedules and industry events.
Compensation:
- Base salary with short-term incentives, compensation includes benefits and paid vacation time.
