About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Metelix Products Inc. as a key member of our maintenance department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Maintenance: Install, replace, and repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components to ensure the smooth operation of our industrial equipment.
  • Equipment Testing and Troubleshooting: Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance to identify and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular preventive maintenance programs to ensure that our equipment is running at optimal levels and to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and testing.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments, including operations and engineering, to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives and to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field, such as electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in an industrial setting.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
