Job Summary

Brightcity electrical and general contractor is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Assist in the design and development of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Testing and Inspection: Assist in the testing and inspection of electrical systems and equipment to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
  • Estimating and Scheduling: Assist in preparing estimates and schedules for electrical projects, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Research and Development: Conduct applied research in fields of electrical and electronic engineering and physics, staying up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices.
  • Installation and Commissioning: Assist in the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems, ensuring smooth integration and minimal downtime.
  • Quality Control: Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality electrical solutions.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
