Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join our team at BC Cancer. The successful candidate will have expertise in treating lymphoma and myeloma, and will be part of a collaborative care team committed to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for patients with lymphoma and myeloma.
  • Participate in clinical, research, and administrative activities, including clinical trials, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental meetings.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, pharmacists, and other physicians, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in the field of medical oncology and hematology.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • MD or equivalent degree.
  • Completion of a fellowship program in medical oncology or hematology.
  • Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
  • Experience in treating lymphoma and myeloma.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
