Medical Oncologist/Hematologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join our team at the Abbotsford Centre, part of the renowned BC Cancer organization. As a key member of our multidisciplinary care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, conducting research, and participating in educational activities.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position, offering a comprehensive benefits package, including a municipal pension plan and psychological health & safety programs. Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
  • Conduct research and participate in clinical trials
  • Participate in educational activities, including teaching and mentoring
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine
  • Certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology or Hematology
  • Eligibility for licensing with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of British Columbia
  • Meet the requirements of credentialing by the Professional Advisory Committee of BC Cancer
