Job Title: Hematologist and/or Medical Oncologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hematologist and/or Medical Oncologist to join our team at BC Cancer – Vancouver Centre.

About the Role:

  • Provide high-quality cancer care to patients with lymphoid malignancies and plasma cell disorders.
  • Work collaboratively with the Lymphoma and Myeloma Tumour Group to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Support the activities of the Vancouver Medical Oncology Program and the UBC Medical Oncology Training Program.
  • Teach postgraduate trainees and undergraduate medical students.

Requirements:

  • Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine.
  • Certificate of Special Competence in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology.
  • Eligibility for licensing with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of British Columbia.
  • Credentialing by the Professional Advisory Committee of BC Cancer.
  • Eligibility for a clinical appointment in the Division of Medical Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the University of British Columbia.
