Overview:
In the ever-evolving landscape of Amazon, understanding the trajectory of growth is paramount. The North American Customer Fulfillment (NACF) team plays a crucial role in addressing key questions about future product line expansions and market dynamics.

Role Summary:
As a Finance Manager within NACF, you will be integral to the decision-making process that impacts millions of customers. Your expertise will be utilized in our Fulfillment Centers (FCs), which leverage advanced robotics and sophisticated tracking systems to manage vast inventories.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:

  • Employ advanced financial acumen to construct comprehensive financial models, analyze data, and present actionable insights that drive strategic improvements across Amazon.
  • Oversee the financial close process on a weekly and monthly basis, including planning, forecasting, budgeting, and consolidations using advanced financial systems.
  • Foster effective partnerships across various business units, managing priorities and providing strategic guidance during unforeseen challenges.
  • Utilize strong communication skills to convey complex financial concepts clearly and concisely, tailoring your approach to suit diverse audiences.
  • Analyze quantitative data to produce insightful reports that lead to cost efficiencies.
  • Lead a team member, engaging in recruitment, development, and mentorship to enhance team performance and leverage diverse perspectives.
  • Identify and implement solutions to enhance financial processes and tools, driving operational excellence.
  • Promote a collaborative work environment, serving as a positive influence and mentor to new team members.

Qualifications:
Basic:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or a related analytical discipline.
Preferred:
  • Proficiency in large-scale data mining and reporting tools, such as SQL, MS Power Query, or Python.
