Role Overview: The Manufacturing Systems Engineer is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing the Aveva-based automation systems and manufacturing equipment at our facilities. This role is essential for ensuring operational reliability and efficiency through effective system integration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement manufacturing systems projects, focusing on digital transformation and automation.
- Modify PLC code to improve the Making system process while adhering to global standards.
- Maintain comprehensive reports related to the Plant Systems database and coordinate updates with local and global teams.
- Oversee the management of PCs, servers, and networks within the manufacturing environment.
- Lead site projects related to automation and digital transformation, ensuring alignment with operational processes.
- Conduct training sessions and provide support for plant floor systems, enhancing user engagement and system utilization.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to define new processes that enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage cybersecurity initiatives within manufacturing systems, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering and automation within FMCG environments.
- Proficiency in PLC programming and experience with SQL databases.
- Knowledge of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Devicenet, Modbus, OPC).
- Familiarity with Windows Server platforms and integration of AGVs and SAP.
