Position Summary:
The role of the Plant Systems Engineer is pivotal in ensuring the operational efficiency and reliability of our manufacturing processes. This position focuses on the management and enhancement of automation systems and manufacturing equipment at our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of Aveva-based systems, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
  • Develop and modify PLC code to adapt to process changes while adhering to established global standards.
  • Manage the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) modules and maintain the integrity of the Plant Systems database.
  • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to define and implement new processes that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Lead initiatives related to digital transformation and automation, focusing on continuous improvement.
  • Conduct training sessions for plant operations to promote effective system usage and knowledge sharing.
  • Document solutions and maintain an updated knowledge base for troubleshooting and operational guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity protocols within manufacturing systems.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical) and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering and automation within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in SCADA systems, PLC programming, and SQL databases is essential.
