Aerospace Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Engineer to join our team as a Cabin Definition Integration Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for integrating cabin engineering activities with other disciplines to ensure seamless design and production processes.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary point of contact for cabin engineering activities, coordinating with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of design documentation.
- Develop and maintain technical requirements and specifications for cabin engineering activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure they understand and follow Bombardier's Business Area (BA) processes and best practices.
- Identify and propose opportunities for product and process improvement, focusing on cycle time reduction, ease of production, and weight reduction.
- Review specifications for accuracy and completeness, ensuring that all documentation meets regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Support Program Change Requests (PCRs) and coordinate technical integration meetings to ensure timely and accurate delivery of design documentation.
- Participate in aircraft go-and-see activities to assess build or installation issues and provide technical support as needed.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, cross-functional teams, and upper management to ensure seamless collaboration and information sharing.
- Validate certification documents to ensure design compliance with regulations.
- Act as a technical leader and transfer knowledge through coaching and mentoring within the team.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- More than 10 years of relevant technical experience in aircraft interiors completions, with a focus on cabin engineering.
- Solid experience with Catia/Enovia and Teamcenter/NX (GSD, Assy, Part Body, Drafting, etc.).
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex engineering issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
- Fluency in French and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
