We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at the Northern Star Hotel & Convention Center. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms, public areas, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing
    • Sweep, mop, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment for our guests.
    • Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, and equipment to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
    • Vacuum and clean carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture to ensure a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Laundry and Linen Services
    • Wash, dry, and fold laundry to ensure a clean and hygienic supply of linens.
    • Restock linen closets and ensure that all linens are properly stored and organized.
  • Guest Services
    • Provide exceptional customer service to our guests by responding to their requests and needs in a timely and professional manner.
    • Address any guest complaints or concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Housekeeping Operations
    • Stock and maintain housekeeping supplies and equipment to ensure that all areas of the hotel are properly cleaned and maintained.
    • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed to maintain a clean and organized environment.
    Requirements
    • Education
      • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • Experience
      • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a housekeeping or related role
      • Permanent employment
      • English language proficiency
      • 35 to 40 hours per week
    Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a high level of physical activity and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
